A week of ideas

Catchachoo
Jimmy Choo are giving away trainers around London using social networks. A Jimmy Choo representative reveals their whereabouts with the trainers on twitter and foursquare, then waits for a couple of minutes before disappearing. Fans have to get there and say 'i've been following you' to get the trainers. Apparently, it's sending women nuts in London.
See the twitter stream here.

Domino's Pizza Taste Bud Bounty
Another simple idea using Facebook connect from Crispin Porter and Bogusky. This idea is about capturing facebook friends and getting them to order a Domino's pizza. The person who gets the most friends ordering pizza will win a years supply of Domino's.
Halo Reach
The new online spot to promote the next chapter in the Halo saga. Reminds me of the film Soldier with Kurt Russell.
John Lewis
This is a great spot from the agency Adam and Eve. It's directed by Dougal Wilson and he has really managed to capture the life of a woman with out making the whole 90 seconds feel cliched. The transitions show how good Wilson is technically. The shots seamlessly blend together and never distract you from the emotive scenes.

Can Ironman and AC/DC make any film good?
That's what one 3D animator asked himself when he produced a model of Ironman in the program Maya and placed him in famous movie scenes.
This is the last post involving Ironman as i'm seeing it tonight and the excitement will be out of my system.

Four Lions
This is the new Chris Morris film (Day Today and Brass Eye) called Four Lions. It's bound to offend some people as it's a comedy about a group of British Muslims plotting a terrorist attack.

AC/DC vs Iron man
So this summer two of my favourite things have come together...
AC/DC and Iron man.
Iron Man 2's whole soundtrack is made up of purely AC/DC tunes. It's safe to say that it ROCKS!
This is a cool piece of advertising that promotes the album. It's a really nice projection mapping project on a castle in Rochester.
If you haven't seen any of iron man 2 yet then here's the trailer.
You'll see our Last FM rocking AC/DC all weekend! Tune in.

You like this

So Facebook begins its complete takeover of the web. The Like button is now the standard for anything you want to share with other people.
Quoted from Tech crunch
"Facebook’s new Like button was announced last week, which allows users to “Like” any piece of content on an outside site with one click. Those likes are then transported back to Facebook and integrated into users’ profiles."
Levi have already integrated the 'Like' button on their website and I'm sure other shopping sites will follow suit.
Read more here and watch what you decide to 'like'.

Nike Grid - London is your game board

Nike was asking the computer gaming generation to get out and claim their streets with a running game that used London as the playing surface. Nike had specially designated phone boxes for people to run between, dial in and score points. The more running people did between phone boxes meant more points.
The points a player got were turned into badges such as the endurance badge for running in lots of area codes and the speed badge for doing a quick time between dial ins.
it started at 8pm on the 23rd and lasted for 24 hours. Winners were awarded the crown badge for their area code.
It used Facebook connect well as all the points and badges earned were added to a players profile in real time.
The website is nicely designed too. take a look here.

Happiness is...
...not an ipod 4G. So don't rush out and buy one.
According to a recent study it's spending that hard earned cash on experiences, such as traveling.
It's an interesting article and shows that happiness from an experience lasts longer than happiness from a material object.
So what will it be a new iphone? Or a cultural trip?
Also, if that made you happy. Take a look at these articles.
